Troubleshooting Missing Nozzles

  1. Check that the ink's use by date has not passed.
  1. Be sure the rubber plug on the top of the cartridge has been removed (see image on the right).

  2. Remove the Sawgrass ink cartridge and determine if the plastic film over the round opening at the bottom of the cartridge has been punctured.  If not, reinstall the cartridge, pressing it firmly into place. You should hear a click when properly seated.

  1. Install the Epson (OEM) inks that came with your printer and print a nozzle check.

  2. If nozzles are still missing, contact Epson support for further assistance.

  3. If the nozzle check is complete with OEM inks, reinstall the Sawgrass ink cartridges and run a head cleaning and nozzle check.

  4. If still unable to print a complete nozzle check, contact Sawgrass technical support.
