April Tech Tip: Learn About Color Modes in Virtuoso Print Manager

Posted: 4/25/2018

Did you know that Virtuoso Print Manager offers different color modes, found in the “Color” tab. Here is a look at what each setting does, so you can choose what’s best for your prints.

  • Photographic – The most realistic, accurate mode. Keeps colors and details true to the image
  • Graphic - High saturation of ink to make colors pop
  • Vivid - Very vibrant and colorful, heavy color saturation and contrast. There is a possible loss of fine details due to color saturation
  • Cool Grey – A black-and-white setting with more blue undertones. Output is cool, striking and dramatic
  • Grayscale - A black-and-white setting that is more neutral and accurate to the original image
  • Classic – Includes legacy PowerDriver profiles and older profiles that were in Virtuoso Print Manger prior to version 5.1

Color slider bars are available for all modes, so that output can be customized even further to meet your needs.
