July Tech Tip: Preventative Maintenance & Cleaning Tips for the VJ 628

Posted: 7/9/2018

As with any printer, preventative maintenance should be part of your daily practice for the VJ 628. Without preventative maintenance, consumable parts may become strained or worn, causing poor production results and a shortened lifespan.

To keep the Sawgrass VJ 628 running at optimal performance levels, be sure to follow the Basic Preventative Maintenance and Cleaning on the Sawgrass VJ 628 video recommendations.

It is also important to apply quick, yet thorough inspections of the printer on a consistent basis, as well as maintain and replace consumable parts when needed. We recommend keeping a dated maintenance log to assist with knowing the life span of consumable parts and when recommended consumable part exchange is due.

The following checklist has been designed for an average 8-hour production schedule to assist with logging your preventative maintenance on the Sawgrass VJ 628 printer. If you run the printer more than 8 hours per day, adjust your log accordingly to repeat the necessary steps per 8-hour shifts.
