How To: Beer Glass Design Coaster

Beer Glass Design Coaster:

1. Go to the "Blank Products" tab in CreativeStudio and click on the “Home Decor” Icon then go to page 7. Scroll to “hardboard coaster 3.75’ round with cork bottom” and click to select it.  
2. Go to “Designs” tab and then to the “Beirgarten” premium folder.    Choose the “Beer Glass Pattern” design.  
3. Click on “Select All” in the top panel.  Resize and center the design.
4. Click on “Select All” again to deselect.
5. To add a box to go behind the text, go the Elements on the left side and then go to shapes.  You want to find a square and add it to your design.
6. For the color, on the right click on Fill Color.  We used hex code #6c3139.
7. We added the text “Whether the glass is half full or half empty you still need another beer”.
8. Choose text on the left side and then click on “Creative Studio.”  We used the font Carbon Type.
9. Go to Fill Color on the right side and change the text to hex code #a37f47.
10. Now we are ready to print, click on the "print" Icon at the top right the printer should be set on your printer name, paper size letter, product “MDF Board,” and change color mode to “vivid.”  Then, you will click on print. Sawgrass Print Manager should pop up and click on print.
11. Turn on and set your heat press to 400F and your time to 60 Seconds.
12. If you would like a set of 4 coasters, when you file opens in Sawgrass Print Manager, go to the layout tab and make sure “print manager performs layout” is selected.
13. Go to the jobs tab and change number of copies to 4. 
14. Go back to the layout tab and change the spacing to .25.  This keeps the coasters from being too close together but does allow them to be on one page. 
15. Place your design face down and center on the coaster, tape down the printed design with heat tape.  
16. Place the coaster on the lower heat platen and cover the printed design with blowout paper and press for 60 seconds.
17. Slowly lift top platen and quickly remove the printed design.  😊 Enjoy!
