How To: Hawaiian Christmas Can Hugger

Hawaiian Christmas Can Hugger:

1. Go to the "Blank Products" tab in CreativeStudio and click on the “Drinkware” Icon then go to page 4 and scroll to “Can Hugger 12oz”
2. Go to the "Designs" tab and click on the “Holi-Yay” Premium folder.  You want to choose the “Mele Kalikimaka” design.
3. Click on “Select All” in the top panel.  Resize and center the design, focusing on the image itself and ignore the background. 
4. Click on “Select All” again to deselect.
5. Select the two pieces of the background (the pale blue and pale tan) and stretch it to fill the area.  You may walk to click on “lock aspect ratio” on the right side to make this easier. 
6. Now we are ready to print, click on the "print" Icon at the top right the printer should be set on your printer name, paper size letter, product “Neoprene,” and change color mode to “vivid.”  Then, you will click on print. Sawgrass Print Manager should pop up and click on print.
7. Turn on and set your heat press to 390F and your time to 45 Seconds.
8. When you file opens in Sawgrass Print Manager, go to the layout tab and make sure “print manager performs layout” is selected.
9. Go to the jobs tab and change number of copies to 2.  This will give you the same design for both sides. 
10. If you want to keep both sides on one piece of paper, go back to layout and change the spacing so they have enough room for you to cut the designs apart and have room to tape.
11. If you want to have each side on a different piece of paper, then increase the spacing until the preview shows only one design and it says page 1/2
12. Run a lint roller over both sides of the can hugger to remove any dust or fibers before sublimating.
13. Place your design face down and center on the sign, tape down the printed design with heat tape on all sides.
14. Place the can hugger on the lower heat platen and cover the printed design with blowout paper and press for 45 seconds.
15. Slowly lift top platen and quickly remove the printed design. 
16. Flip the can hugger over, tape down the second side, and repeat the process.
17. Slowly lift top platen and quickly remove th4e printed design.  😊 Enjoy!
