How To: Valentine Pet Bandana

Valentine Pet Bandana:

1. Go to the "Blank Products" tab in CreativeStudio and click on the “Pet Accessories” Icon and then scroll to “Large pet scarf with black .79” wide collar” and click to select it.   

2. Go to the "Designs" tab and click on the “Valentine’s Day” Premium folder.  Select the “Run to the dog park” design. 

3. Click on “Select All” in the top panel.  Resize and center the design, focusing on the image itself and ignore the background.   

4. Click on “Select All” again to deselect. 

5. Select the background and stretch it to fill the area.  You may walk to click on “lock aspect ratio” on the right side to make this easier.   

6. On this design, there may be several layers to the background.  You’ll have to repeat step 5 for each of them.   

7. Now we are ready to print, click on the "print" Icon at the top right the printer should be set on your printer, choose the paper size you will be using, set the product to “polyester,” and change color mode to “vivid.”  Then, you will click on print. Sawgrass Print Manager should pop up and click on print. 

8. Turn on and set your heat press to 390F and your time to 60 Seconds. 

9. Run a lint roller over the mitt to remove any dust or fibers before sublimating. 

10. Place your design face down and center on the bandana, tape down the printed design with heat tape. 

11. Place the bandana on the lower heat platen and cover the printed design with blowout paper and press for 60 seconds. 

12. Slowly lift top platen and quickly remove the printed design.   

13. Add the bandana to the collar and you are ready to run to the dog park!  😊
