How To: St. Patrick's Day Shirt

St. Patrick's Day Shirt :

1. Open up your CreativeStudio, open the "Blank Products" tab and choose the 8.5x11 sheet of paper from the "Design Canvas" folder.
2. Click on the "Design" tab and open the "St. Patrick's Day" premium folder.  Select the "Lucky" design with the rainbow and shamrocks.
3. Delete everything from the design except for the word "Lucky", the "Lucky" outline and one shamrock.
4. Move your shamrock to the center of your workspace and move "Lucky" and its outline to the bottom of your workspace.
5. Select the shamrock and use the corners of the design to make it take up majority of your page.  Go to your "Fill Color" button in your Tool Box and turn your shamrock red.
6. Click the "Duplicate" button in your Tool Box and resize your new shamrock so it is slightly smaller than the one it is in front of.  Go to your Tool Box, select "Fill Color" and turn this shamrock orange.
7. Repeat Step 6 until you have every color of the rainbow layered on top of each other.
8. Select the word "Lucky" and its outline.  Resize both until they fit in the center of your rainbow shamrock.
9. Select the "Lucky" outline and use the "Fill Color" button in your Tool Box to turn it a darker shade of green.
10. Click on the printer button on the top right hand corner of your screen.  Make sure your design is not mirrored.  Select "Heat Transfer Vinyl" as your material and "Vivid" as your color mode.  Click print.
11. After your item prints, take your vinyl sheet and place it under your heat press for 45 seconds so the ink can dry.  Note, do not shut your heat press.
12. Place your print on your PicScan mat, take a picture of the mat, email it to yourself and save the image on your desktop.
13. Open up your Silhouette Studio and select the "PicScan" icon on the right hand side of your screen.  Upload your image, click "Ok" and "Continue".
14. Once your image is pulled up on your screen, go to the "Trace" button on the right hand side of your screen.  Click "Select Trace Area" and draw a square around your design.  Increase your threshold until your shamrock is turned yellow.  Note, the word "Lucky" will remain white.  Click "Trace and Detach".
15. Click the "Send" button on the top right hand corner of your screen.  Load your PicScan mat into your cutter and click "Send" at the bottom of your Silhouette Studio.
16. After your design has been cut, remove the PicScan mat from your cutter.  Use your Silhouette Hook to peel your shamrock away.
17. Pre-press your shirt in your heat press for 45 seconds to release the moisture.
18. Place your shamrock face up on top of your shirt, place blowout paper on top then press your shirt for 11 seconds.
