How To: Steel Can Cooler for Parties and Celebrations

Steel Can Cooler for Parties and Celebrations:

1. Go to the "Blank Products" tab in CreativeStudio and click on the “Drinkware” Icon then go to page 5. Scroll down to the “12 ounce Steel Can Hugger”  
2. Go to the "Designs" tab and click on the “Birthday” Premium folder.  Scroll to the “Pinwheel” design and click on it. 
3. Choose “select all” from the top menu.  
4. Resize the design and move it to the left side of the print area.  
5. Hit “select all” a second time to deselect the design.
6. To personalize this image further, you can add the name and date of the event you’re celebrating.
7. Choose the Text option from the tool panel on the left.  In the Creative Studio folder, choose the font Boogaloo.  On the text box on the right, change the text to the title of the celebration.  
8. Select duplicate from the appearance panel and then add the date.  We do this as two separate lines so that you can make the date smaller.  Grab the anchor and drag in to reduce the size.    
9. Click on the top new line of text and go to the fill color panel on the right-side tool bar.  We used hex code #06946a
10. Once you have the design as you’d like it on one side of the can cooler, click on “select all” in the top panel.  
11. On the right tool bar, choose “duplicate.”  
12. You’ll need to resize and move each piece of the design to the right side of the can cooler.  
13. Now we are ready to print, click on the "print" Icon at the top right the printer should be set on your printer, choose the paper size you will be using, set the product to “stainless steel tumbler,” and change color mode to “vivid.”  Then, you will click on print. Sawgrass Print Manager should pop up and click on print.
14. Turn on and set your tumbler/mug heat press to 380F and your time to 120 Seconds.
15. Make sure to unscrew and remove the plastic ring that holds the can in place.
16. Rubbing Alcohol and a lint free cloth can be used to remove fingerprints from metal.
17. Place your design face down and center on the can cooler, tape down the printed design with heat tape on all edges.
18. Place the can cooler in the press and close.
19. After timer goes off, slowly open the press quickly remove the printed design.  😊 Enjoy!
