Bacon and Eggs Glass Cutting Board:

  1. Go to the "Blank Products" tab in CreativeStudio and click on the “Kitchen and Dining” Icon then scroll down to “Colorlyte 12” Round Cutting Board” on page 4.
  2. Go to the "Designs" tab and click on the “Food and Drink” Premium folder.  We’re going to use two designs, Select the “Bacon my Heart” design first.
  3. Choose “select all” from the top panel and reduce the size of the image and center it on the product.  Make sure to unclick “select all” when you are finished.
  4. Now, go back to “Designs” and click on the “Food and Drink” Premium folder a second time.  Find and add the “Eggs” pattern.
  5. Use the “bring forwards” and “send backwards” buttons in the right appearance bar to move all the parts of the egg pattern behind the bacon design. There is a black layer, a white layer, a yellow layer, and then a layer with little white accents.  Be patient with this – the results are worth it!
  6. Now we are ready to print, click on the "print" icon at the top right the printer should be set on the Sawgrass SG 1000, paper size Tabloid, product “glass,” and change color mode to “vivid.”  Then, you will click on print. Sawgrass Print Manager should pop up and click on print.
  7. Make sure that you turn mirror off!  Glass is one of the few products where you do not want to mirror your design.
  8. Turn on and set your heat press to 400F and your time to 4 minutes and 30 seconds.
  9. Place your design face up and center on the cutting board, tape down the printed design with heat tape. Remember, the design is going on the “bottom” of the cutting board.
  10. Place the cutting board on the lower heat platen and cover the printed design with blowout paper and a silicone pad to protect the glass.  Press for 4 minutes and 30 seconds.
  11. Slowly lift top platen and quickly remove the printed design.
  12. Remember, glass is very hot when sublimated, let it sit and cool before touching without heat mitts.   😊 Enjoy!
