Fall Tea Towel:

  1. Go to the "Blank Products" tab in CreativeStudio and click on the “Design Canvases” Icon then go to page 3, scroll down, and click on “8”x12 portrait.”
  2. Go to the "Designs" tab and click on the “Autumn” Premium folder.  Select the “Fall is my  Favorite Color” design.
  3.  Do a select all and move the design up so that the artwork is centered at the top.
  4. Unselect and move the background back down to fill the area.
  5. If the background does not fully cover the area, unlock aspect ratio on the right appearance menu and drag the background to fill the area.
  6. Go to “Elements” and then to “Design Graphics.”  The line art we used can be found on page 3, and is on the last row of crowns.  Size and center the element.  Click on fill color from the right appearance panel and use the hex code #e55f25.
  7. Add a phrase to the bottom of the panel.  The font we used is Amarante and the hex code for the color is # 013636.
  8. Note:  This is the size of one panel of a standard tea towel. You can print the design more than once to put on additional panels or even delete the artwork and just leave the orange rectangle for a panel.  You can also delete the background so none of the panels are orange and the towel background remains white.
  9. Now we are ready to print, click on the "print" Icon at the top right the printer should be set on the Sawgrass SG 1000, paper size US Legal, product “polyester,” and change color mode to “vivid.”  Then, you will click on print. Sawgrass Print Manager should pop up and click on print.
  10. Turn on and set your heat press to 400F and your time to 40 Seconds.
  11. Run a lint roller over the bag to remove any dust or fibers before sublimating.
  12. Place your design face down and center on the sign, tape down the printed design with heat tape on both sides.
  13. Place the sign on the lower heat platen and cover the printed design with blowout paper and press for 40 seconds.
  14. Slowly lift top platen and quickly remove the printed design.  😊 Enjoy!
