Going Home Decorative Pillow:

  1. On the left menu in CreativeStudio, choose “Custom Canvas.”  Most pillowcases are 16x16.  The size of your print on the pillow can be flexible.  Choose the size that works best with your printer.  For an SG400 or SG500, you would probably want to do an 8”x8” area.  For an SG800 or SG1000, you could do a 10.5” x 10.5” out of the main tray, or a 12.5”x12.5” out of the bypass tray on 13x19 paper.
  2. Once you have decided on your print size, add .25” to all sides for the bleed area.
  3. Go to the "Designs" tab and click on the “Autumn” Premium folder.  Select the “Antlers” design.
  4. If the background does not fully cover the area, unlock aspect ratio on the right appearance menu and drag the background to fill the area.
  5. Now we are ready to print, click on the "print" Icon at the top right the printer should be set on your printer, choose the paper size you will be using, set the product to “polyester,” and change color mode to “vivid.”  Then, you will click on print. Sawgrass Print Manager should pop up and click on print.
  6. Note:  Custom Canvas cannot be saved.  Make sure that your design has printed and is pressed correctly before closing it in CreativeStudio.
  7. Turn on and set your heat press to 400F and your time to 45 Seconds.
  8. Run a lint roller over the bag to remove any dust or fibers before sublimating.
  9. A foam pad placed inside the pillow will help you from getting lines on the pillow case.  It should be slightly larger than the print, but slightly smaller than your transfer paper.
  10. If possible, make sure that your zipper is outside of your press to protect it from the heat.
  11. Place your design face down and center on the sign, tape down the printed design with heat tape on both sides.
  12. Place the sign on the lower heat platen and cover the printed design with blowout paper and press for 45 seconds.
  13. Slowly lift top platen and quickly remove the printed design.  😊 Enjoy!
