How To: Personalized Christmas Ornament

Personalized Christmas Ornament:

1. Go to the "Blank Products" tab in CreativeStudio and click on the “Home Decor” Icon then go to page 11. Scroll to “2.75” Round Ornament” and click to select it. 
2. Go to “Backgrounds” tab and then to the “Sparkleberry Ink” premium folder.    Choose the “Gingerbread” design. 
3. Resize and center the design.
4. Go to Elements, then “Shapes,” and choose a black heart.   
5. Resize that to fit in the middle of your design with the pattern behind it.
6. Click on fill color.  We suggest using HexCode # d22b5f.
7. To add text, click on the text tool in the left Tool Bar
8. Click on the Creative Studio folder to choose a font.  We used Allura Normal.
9. You can use fill color to change the color of the text.  We chose HexCode # d5ebea
10. Now we are ready to print, click on the "print" Icon at the top right the printer should be set on your printer name, paper size letter, product “metal,” and change color mode to “vivid.”  Then, you will click on print. Sawgrass Print Manager should pop up and click on print.
11. Turn on and set your heat press to 400F and your time to 60 Seconds.
12. If you would like to put multiples of the same ornament design on a page, when you file opens in Sawgrass Print Manager, go to the layout tab and make sure “print manager performs layout” is selected.
13. Go to the jobs tab and change number of copies to 4. 
14. Go back to the layout tab and change the spacing to .5.  This keeps the coasters from being too close together but does allow them to be on one page. 
15. If you’d like to put different ornaments on a page, as long as all of the print menu settings are the same in Creative Studio, when you hit print, they will all go to the same SPM window and onto the same page. 
16. Place your design face down and center on the ornament, tape down the printed design with heat tape. 
17. Place the ornament on the lower heat platen and cover the printed design with blowout paper and press for 60 seconds.
18. Slowly lift top platen and quickly remove the printed design.  😊 Enjoy!
