How To: Personalized Thanksgiving PU Leather Coaster

Personalized Thanksgiving PU Leather Coaster :

1. Go to the "Blank Products" tab in CreativeStudio and click on the “Kitchen and Dining” Icon then go to page 2. At the top, you’ll see “square polyleather coaster.” 
2. Go to “Designs” tab and then to “Thanksgiving” premium folder.    Choose the “Thanksgiving fall wheat bundle.”
3. Select the name and change it.
4. You can change the color of the background by selecting the layer and clicking on the fill color icon on the right. You can pick a color that matches your home décor.   Here are some complimentary hex codes that you might want to try:  #b3d28d, #ebe6ca, #e1c49e, or #ebb891 (we used this one).
5. Now we are ready to print, click on the "print" Icon at the top right the printer should be set on the Sawgrass SG 1000, paper size US letter product “polyester,” and change color mode to “vivid.”  Then, you will click on print. Sawgrass Print Manager should pop up and click on print.
6. Turn on and set your heat press to 380F and your time to 45 Seconds.
7. If you are printing multiple coasters, send one, then change the name on the coaster and send the next.  As long as the settings are the same, they will all open in the same SPM Tab. 
8. Reminder:  You are limited to six files at a time. 
9. In SPM, go to the Layout tab.  Make sure that “Print Manager Performs Layout” is selected. 
10. For spacing, change that to .25.  This keeps the coasters from being too close together but does allow them to be on one page. 
11. Place your design face down and center on the sign, tape down the printed design with heat tape.  We suggest keeping tape along the side so it does not damage the front or back of the coaster.
12. Note on pressure:  it needs to be enough that the ink gets into the stitched area, but light enough to prevent sticking.
13. Place the coaster on the lower heat platen and cover the printed design with blowout paper and press for 45 seconds.
14. Slowly lift top platen and quickly remove the printed design.  😊 Enjoy!
