How To: Welcome Gnome Sign

Welcome Gnome Sign:

1. Go to the "Blank Products" tab in CreativeStudio and click on the “Home Décor” Icon.  Choose the first item, the “Hanging Wall Décor – Banner Shape.”
2. We’re going to start by adding a solid color background behind the flowers.  Go to “Elements,” and then the “Shapes” folder.  Find a solid color rectangle.
3. Grab and anchor and stretch the rectangle to fill the area.  You may want to make the background bigger than the area to make steps 6 and 9 easier.
4. Go to “Fill Color” on the right side.  We used hex code #F4EEBD for the background.  
5. Go to the "Designs" tab and click on the “Spring” Premium folder.  Select the “Watercolor Flower” pattern.
6.  On the top bar, click “select all” to select the entire pattern.  Resize to completely cover the template.  Notice that you are changing the size of the background as well.  You may want to make everything bigger than the area to make step 9 easier.  
7. When everything is size correctly, click on “select all” again to deselect.  
8. Go to the "Designs" tab and click on the “Spring” Premium folder.  Select the “Watercolor Gnome Trip.”
9. To resize the Gnomes, the easiest may be to do a “select all” and resize everything, then deselect.  
10. Click on the text tool on the left tool panel.  In the CreativeStudio folder, choose the font “Bubblegum Sans.”  
11. Resize the text to fit underneath the Gnomes.  
12. Go to “Fill Color” on the right side.  We used hex code #20381A for the text.  
13. Now we are ready to print, click on the "print" Icon at the top right the printer should be set on the Sawgrass SG 1000, paper size US Tabloid, product “MDF board,” and change color mode to “vivid.”  Then, you will click on print. Sawgrass Print Manager should pop up and click on print.
14. Turn on and set your heat press to 400F and your time to 60 Seconds.
15. Place your design face down and center on the sign, tape down the printed design with heat tape on both sides.
16. Place the sign on the lower heat platen and cover the printed design with blowout paper and press for 60 seconds.
17. Slowly lift top platen and quickly remove the printed design.  😊 Enjoy!
