One of the clearest shifts we saw at PRINTING United was not about a specific machine or application.
It was about the people using them. Creators are thinking beyond the first project. They are thinking about larger orders, new product categories, better margins and what equipment actually deserves space in their business.
The questions are changing too.
More Capability Does Not Have to Mean More Equipment
Traditionally, every new product category can introduce another workflow.
VersiFlex gives decorators more flexibility without adding an entirely new production setup.
By changing transfer paper, users can move between cotton, polyester and compatible hard goods.
At PRINTING United, we previewed what is next with VersiFlex MAX, VersiFlex Pro, Flex Press and VersiFlex Tagless Label, and the interest was immediate.
Dark Garments Open a Much Bigger Conversation
VersiFlex MAX became one of the biggest conversation starters at the booth.
Yes, people were interested in decorating dark garments. But once they saw what was being developed, the conversation quickly became larger than printing on a black shirt.
Soft Hand Feel & Breathability Still Matter
Color, detail and durability are important, but apparel is ultimately something someone wears.
A photograph can show a finished print. It cannot communicate hand feel. Sometimes you have to pick the shirt up.
Why We Are Not Rushing the Next Launch
Excitement naturally leads to one question: When is VersiFlex MAX launching?
We do not have a definitive launch date yet, and that is intentional.
Before any Sawgrass product reaches customers, it must meet our standards for color, workflow and performance. The excitement from PRINTING United only motivates our teams to keep testing and refining until the technology is ready for everyday production.
